(Psalm 139:14) I don’t think we can praise God too much for the miracle of birth and the blessing of our children. Joy and thanksgiving should begin every prayer about our kids. What better time to establish a pattern of praise in our worship than right after the miracle of birth. I think most parents can associate a deep and special feeling of joy and thanksgiving with the first few weeks of their child’s life. We should tap that same feeling of joy and thanksgiving throughout our prayer lives. I love you, Lord, and I lift my voice to worship You. O my soul, rejoice. Take joy, my King, in what You hear.
